About Lisa Jamison

Welcome! I'm Lisa, and I specialize in Integrated Somatic Therapies. I'm a Compassionate Inquiry Practitioner, Coach/Trainer, Body Worker, Yoga Therapist, Breathwork facilitator, educator, and all around great gal (not necessarily in that order!). I thrive on watching people move, both in sport/activity as well as how one maneuvers the world. Professionally I can help you do that with more grace, ease, and efficiency...AND help you determine those pesky limitations, often from adverse experiences/trauma. It's about eliminating the stresses on your body and teaching you a new way. Physically. Cognitively. Emotionally. Body, mind, and spirit.

Outstanding. Ish.

A Real Kicker

There’s lots of people in this world who spend so much time watching their health that they haven’t the time to enjoy it.  ~Josh Billings Food Police.  Exercise Nazi.  Running Fanatic.  Triathlon Junkie.  On a daily basis, I encounter them.  … Continue reading

The Winds of Change

(Please note that this post has been delayed due to the fact that I went out for a pizza.) Seriously. My body composition had gotten considerably off during my months of prolonged non-training.  My goal was to lose four pounds … Continue reading

Kitchen. Out. Now.

This morning I wrote about “getting out of the kitchen”; enjoying who you were toiling over rather than what you were going to serve people.  It was about engaging in the world around you instead of paying unneccesary attention to … Continue reading

Take a Balance Break…

…and get out of the kitchen. As Jesus travelled the land he was quite dependent on the kindness of strangers.  Like many, Martha invited him into her home.  She quickly disappeared into the kitchen preparing a last minute snack.  As … Continue reading

A Rose Really Does Smell Sweet!

To feel keenly the poetry of a morning’s roses, one has to have just escaped from the claws of this vulture which we call sickness.  ~Henri Frederic Amiel  Someone told me I looked “light” the other day.  What a … Continue reading
